One of the fastest-growing fashion companies of Nordics, Chiquelle, entrusted its logistics to Bleckmann to support its ambitious growth plans across Europe.
Chiquelle: pure fashion, ultra-fast trends and e-commerce
Chiquelle is a fast growing Swedish brand designing and selling clothes, bags and accessories for young an fashionable women. Founded in 2012, it is now active in over 70 countries worldwide, including Europe, US and other geographies. The company solely relies on its own sales channels. Next to its online presence, which plays the pivotal role in Chiquelle’s sales strategy, it regularly opens its own pop-up store to even better interact with its community.
Every week, the brand introduces limited collections. It takes only two to three weeks to launch a collection from idea, through design, production, IT and logistics to getting the products online. Moreover, whatever sells out can be restocked within one or two weeks again.
As part of its ambitious plans to expand in Europe and beyond, Chiquelle has decided to close its own warehouse nearby Stockholm and has chosen Bleckmann as its logistics partner.
Chiquelle needed a reliable partner with solid e-commerce track record in fashion logistics. Furthermore, the brand was looking for a strategic location enabling good access to its growth markets in Germany and the UK, while securing reliable and fast service for its core market in Sweden and other Nordic countries. Bleckmann could offer the right solution meeting these requirements.
Implementation: right at the first time
The mission was clear: ensuring smooth transition of all logistics operations and stock from Sweden to the new site within agree timeline, on budget and without any negative impact on customer service. Besides moving all the goods, Chiquelle’s IT system had to be flawlessly integrated with Bleckmann’s warehouse management solution.
Thanks to solid project management, early involvement of all concerned functions, including operations and IT, and close cooperation between all involved teams of the two companies, the transition to the new site and the launch went according to plan.

Ready for growth
The strategically selected location in Almelo in east of the Netherlands enables Chiquelle to serve all its customers across Europe, including surrounding geographies as well as Scandinavia, according to their expectations.
Thanks to Bleckmann’s warehouse management system offering visibility into all logistics processes, for example providing updates on arrival of returns early in the process, Chiquelle can further optimize its logistics operations and reduce costs.
